2022 is over and we have stepped into 2023. It feels a bit weird if you ask me, and not just because I’m turning 30 this year, but more so because 2022 was another weird year. It felt a bit more normal, and yet it didn’t.

I hope all of you had a great new years eve and that you are ready for 2023. So before we learn to write 2023 instead of 2022, I thought we could take a quick peek back at 2022 and look at some of my favorite products from the year. In this post, I will talk about skincare, as you probably already guessed from the title. My next post will be makeup related.

A’pieu – Pure Block Daily Sun Cream SPF 45, PA+++
This is one of my favorite sunscreens. It has a light scent of orange if you ask me. It is a lovely scent and it doesn’t feel like perfume. It doesn’t leave a white cast and it dries fast on the skin. The price is also wonderful, so I don’t feel bad about reapplying when I need to. So if you are in a need of a new sunscreen I would recommend this one.

Mizon – Intensive Firming Solution Collagen Power Firming Enriched Cream
I have talked about this product before. It has taken me a bit by storm because it is just that good. This cream has a beautiful texture, and it feels beautiful on the skin. It has a soft scent, and it disappears into the skin fast. You are left with beautifully smooth and hydrated skin when you wake up. I always use it as a night cream, but it could also be used in the morning before you apply your sunscreen.

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast balm B5
This product was a lifesaver honestly. When my skin freaked out and I didn’t know what to do, because it was so dry and there were flakes everywhere. This came and saved my skin. I almost emptied out a bottle in a week, because it was the only thing I dared to apply to my skin. And my skin was so dry that I had to reapply throughout the day. My skin returned to normal and I have not lived without this product since. I don’t use it every day, unless my skin feels very dry. But a couple of times during the week. Most often at night.

Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Low-pH Cleansing foam
I really love this cleanser. Normally I don’t stick to one cleanser, but I keep switching it out. But with this one, I have used it three times in a row now. It doesn’t dry my skin out in any shape or form. It leaves nice clean skin. It is so easy to use and it foams beautifully.

Rituals – Body Cream from The Ritual of Sakura series
Now it doesn’t have to be this specific smell. Because honestly, I don’t think I have ever had a bad scent from Rituals. The red one is my favorite. But this one is quite good if I have to say so myself. I have come into a habit (finally) to give myself smooth hydrated skin. So I use a dry oily in the morning after my shower, and then this body cream in the evening. My skin feels baby smooth and I am loving it. It has a beautiful texture and melts into the skin. If you do it in the evening then the scent might linger, in your bedding. I know some might
