I mentioned this product in my post about my march favorites and I just wanted to go a bit more in-depth with it, because I really love this fiber mousse from HH Simonsen.
HH Simonsen Fiber Mousse is a styling product that promises to provide volume, texture, and hold to hair. Firstly, the packaging of the product is sleek and attractive, with a modern design that catches the eye. The mousse comes in a can with a dispenser that allows for easy and controlled application and the thing is you don’t need a lot of this product, because as with all other mousses it doubles in size and it doesn’t take a lot to get a good result.
One of the things that I find important is the scent that haircare products have. I don’t feel like this product lingers in your hair, but the fragrance is not overpowering, making it suitable for people who are sensitive to strong scents. I also really like the fragrance of this product. It simply just smells good.
The Fiber Mousse has a lightweight texture that does not weigh down your hair, making it ideal for people who want volume and texture without feeling like there is a product in your hair. It is one of the best products to define my waves, and I always apply it before my gel, so it gets locked in. But I have also used it on its own and it works fine as well.
The mousse is designed to provide a flexible hold that allows for natural movement and does not leave hair feeling crunchy or stiff. I really feel like this is true. My waves always last longer with this product in my hair, and it doesn’t make it crunchy in any way.
One of the standout features of this mousse is its ability to add texture to the hair, making it suitable for people with fine or thin hair who want to create the appearance of thicker, fuller hair. Now I don’t really need my hair to look fuller or thicker, but my mom has fine hair, but a lot of it, and this product works well in both of our types of hair. My hair can handle a lot more product than hers can, but it doesn’t make your hair feel heavy or dirty for that matter.
I just bought another fiber mousse just to try something different and I can say that this one, is a lot better. It simply just holds my waves better. When I have to freshen my hair up on day number two I simply spray my hair with a bit of water and add a small amount of this product, and boom I have beautiful waves again. Some days I only need to add water.
But all in all, if you want to try a new product and you need this type of product and I can say this is a top tear product and I will be buying it again!
