Mizon is a brand that I haven’t really talked about except for one product, which I have mentioned a lot! I really like the brand.

I have tried some sheet masks and other face creams from them. A review coming soon. So it is a brand that I would say is fairly safe to try out. I have not been disappointed yet.

I really like the packing, I like that the little spatula is in the lid. It is a way to make sure that you don’t lose it and for a person like me, that often misplace things that’s just a lovely feature. I also think the beautiful light blue and gold lid is a pretty combo. The scent was really lovely, and calming. Now let’s talk about what it can do!

Mizon Cicaluronic Cleansing Balm is a skincare product that is designed to remove makeup, dirt, and impurities from the skin while also providing moisturizing and soothing benefits. I feel like it removed my makeup fairly well. I did need to add a few extra seconds when I was wearing waterproof mascara, but I was able to get it off. It didn’t sting my eyes, which was lovely.

The word Cicaluronic is the combination of Centella asiatica extract and hyaluronic acid. So the cleansing balm is hydrating and soothing for the skin. They also help with repairing the skin barrier and calm inflammation in the skin. It didn’t dry out my skin or irritate it in any way. Now with that said I did follow up with a cleanser straight away, so it’s not like I only used this product and left my skin to dry before applying it. But it didn’t bother my skin in any way. There aren’t any harsh chemicals in it either.

It’s important to remember with a cleansing balm it has different phases that it needs to go through. You take it from a solid form to oil when you warm it up in your hands and apply it to your face. Then you add a little bit of water and it turns milky. Then you work that into your skin and then you wash it off.

I have tried a few different cleansing balms, but I really do like this one. It’s simple to use and it works well.
