La Roche-Posay is a skincare brand that I have heard a lot about, for good reason. However, I have never really taken my time to look into the brand and actually pick some products that I wanted to try. Now on my For You Page, this specific cream kept popping up, so I of course wrote down that I had to try this cream out.

Somehow, I still don’t know how to this day, but I ruined my skin barrier, or at least that is what I think I did. From one day to another my skin turned flaky, very very dry, and itchy. I couldn’t wear makeup, because my skin was so dry. I tried to find some of the creams I have for dry skin, and I even bought some more, but none of them really worked. That is until I remembered this cream.

I bought a tube and I have not looked back since. I used this multiple times a day, and in a week’s time, my skin was back to normal. The first tube got used up quite fast because I used it so much, so now I’m on tube number two.

For a period of time, I only used this cream after I washed my face. Then I had a period where I used this before my sunscreen in the morning. Right now I use it in the evening before my night cream.

This cream soothes and protects your skin. It is really good for sensitive skin and dry skin. It contains antibacterial agents and Vitamin B5. It is a really beautiful product.

It is a bit of thick cream and you do need to push it into your skin. It also takes a few minutes to dry. I don’t find it sticky, however. It does have a slight smell to it, but it is very vague and it does not smell like perfume. I kind of like the scent.

I can see a change in my skin when I use this, and I have also given it to my mom and she loves it as well. I saw some use it as a spot treatment as well, I haven’t tried that because I love to slather it all over my face. I do not have enough positive words in my vocabulary to describe this product!
