Summer is finally here! Well in Denmark it comes and goes as it pleases, but most days, it’s here. So I wanted to come at you guys with a summer look. Let me rephase that, an easy summer look, just as the title says. Summer isn’t really the time of year where I wear the most makeup, mostly because it will melt off my face, but when I do wear makeup I like for it to be easy and fun. Normally when I think of a summer makeup look, I think bronze colored eyeshadow, but since a lot of bright colors and neon colors are popular right now, I thought I would go down that road. BUT a lot of us don’t have those colors laying around, or at least I don’t, even though I’m starting to feel like I need them, maybe? No? Anyways I found my way to one of my favorite trio blushes from Sleek in the color Pink Lemonade. It might not look like much, but I really like it on the eyes. It consists of a light pink blush, a cream blush and a rosa toned blush.

For this looked I started with a primer, my beloved Nars one. Afterwards I used the cream blush all over my eyelid, I used my finger to apply it. Then I took a blending brush, and used the lightest color, I patted it over the lid where the cream blush was, and then I blended it out into my crease. If you want the edge to be extra smooth, then add a little bit of your face powder on your blending brush and smooth out the edge like that. Then I curled my eyelashes and applied mascara. As you can hear a very simple look. And very easy to do.

For my face I used Maybelline Fit me! Luminous + smooth foundation in the color 115. I loved this foundation, it’s so beautiful on the skin! To set my face I used my Laura Mercier translucent setting powder. I used the NARS Laguna as my bronzer, but it’s not a favorite of mine, I’m just trying to use it up and it works okay. Then I of course used the same blush that I used on my eyes, on my cheeks, which I think really ties the look together. My highlighter is the Smashbox Spotlight Palette in Pearl, I used the lightest one. It’s one of the best highlighters ever!
That was my summer look for you guys. I do need to say, that the blush is made for the face, and therefore it’s at ones on risk to apply it to the eyes. But I haven’t had any trouble doing it, but it is something that you need to keep in mind!
