I have never really been a person that has been obsessed with haircare products, I had my focus on makeup and skincare. But since I started this whole journey with the Curly girl method and just hair as a whole, things have changed a bit.
Kérastase isn’t a brand that I have looked too much into. But for once I wanted to treat my hair just a little bit. So I have been using this for a couple of months now. I can see that I ordered in January and honestly I can’t remember what I used before and if I started using it around that time. But I can say that I just finished it a couple of days ago, and I have been using it for a while.
Kératase Curl Manifesto Bain Hydratation Douceur Shampoo 250 ml
The design on these is nice having them standing in your shower. The shampoo is made out of a bit harder plastic than the conditioner, but very easy to get the product out.
I really like the smell. It’s not overpowering, the scent does however linger in your hair, which is kind of nice. I have always shampooed my hair twice when I’m washing hair. I did that as well with this one. I think that it cleaned my hair really nice and it didn’t dry my hair out but added just the perfect amount of moisture. It made my waves/curls look really nice and didn’t drag them down in any way.
I didn’t have to use very much product when washing my hair, which was nice. It spread out fairly well.
Kératase Curl Manifesto Fondant Hydratation Essentielle Conditioner 250 ml
I have always been a mask over a conditioner kind of person. But this conditioner really took me by surprise. I really really like this conditioner. It has a thicker consistency than shampoo, and it is very easy to spread into the hair. I always brush my hair in the shower while having conditioner in, and this product made it so easy. I do let it sit in my hair for a couple of minutes before I start brushing my hair out. I’m always left with well-conditioned hair, and not greasy in any way. Sometimes I did bring it close to the roots and that didn’t give me any problems at all. I really like this product.
All in all, this was a very good experience and I would like to purchase these two products again. They really did well for my hair.
