I went to Hawaii and San Francisco on my summer vacation this year, which meant that I of course had a list of products that you can’t get your hands on here in Denmark, that I had to buy. One of those products was this cleanser from Bliss. I have tried Bliss products before, and it was also possible to buy Bliss products here in Denmark at one point, but the last few times that I have tried to search for Bliss products in Denmark, it has been impossible to track down, which I think is sad, since they have a lot of cool products. So this review is for people who actually are able to get their hands on Bliss products, so I’m sorry to our Danish readers.

First of all, I saw this cleanser on Bliss own Instagram, and yes, they had me at Rose Gold! What can a girl do? My skin has become more sensitive and drier, so I have started to stay away from foaming cleansers because they can be a bit drying to the skin. But this was for sensitive skin, so I wanted to give it a try.

The packing is really good. I love that they added a pump, it just makes everything a lot easier, and I feel like every face wash should have one. It’s so easy to control the amount of product, and I use about a half of pump of product for my face.

I really like the smell of this product, it’s a simple clean soapy smell, that shouldn’t irritate your skin (Bliss own claim).

The cleanser is free from dyes, parabens and harsh surfactants. It’s infused with rose water and nourishing colloidal gold; therefore, the name rose gold. It foams perfectly, as a foaming cleanser should do, it also cleanses your skin well. I do want to point out that I used a makeup remover that didn’t perform that well, and at that point I had to use this cleanser twice, for all of my makeup to be removed, so basically, I used this product to double cleanse. My skin felt slightly dry after use, it didn’t strip the skin, but there was some dryness there. They do say that all skin types can use it, but it’s best for normal, combination and oliy skin, and I couldn’t agree more.

I did enjoy this product, but I won’t be buying it again, and I think this might be the last foaming cleanser that I will buy, and move more over to gel cleansers since they are more hydrating for the skin. If you are in the US then you can find this cleanser in Target or on www.blissworld.com

Have you tried this product? Or do you know of any good cleansers, then please leave a comment and tell me about it!
