When I first saw this product, the name caught my eye and the pink packaging helped a lot too! For some reason, I was really drawn to this product but sadly I couldn’t find it here in Denmark so I had to wait to buy it for when I was in the States. It was worth the wait, and I haven’t regretted it!
This mask is cruelty-free and vegan. It contains marshmallow root extract which can help relieve skin irritation and give hydration to the skin. They say that the masks will smooth uneven skin tone as well as discoloration. The texture is whipped so it’s very soft and easy to spread onto the skin.
The product looks pink in the jar, but when you apply it, it turns white. The instructions is to apply a thick layer onto clean dry skin avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 10-15 minutter. Use 2-3 times per week. It has a very light citrus scent, if you ask me but to be fair I’m not usually that good at identifying scents.
I actually really like this mask and it reminds me a bit of the algenist Alive mask with the way it cleans my skin and I really like that. But when that is said, I really do see a difference when I use the Bliss mask. The first time I used it in the evening and the next morning I was confused as to why my skin looked better than normal, then I remembered I had used the mask the night before.
I have started to get small dark spots after breakouts, which I haven’t had before, and I thought this might help with that. I wish I had taken a picture when I started using this because I’m not sure if it has helped a bit or if it might just be me seeing things, but my face normally looks brighter after I have used this and it looks clearer than before.
Another thing I want to point out is that during all of these things with the coronavirus, I have been a lot better with my mask game. I have gotten into a really good routine again and remembering to use face masks obviously goes a long way in terms of seeing results. I feel like I have seen good results because I use it consistently about twice a week. Regardless, I really like this mask and if I come by it again while travelling I’ll definitely repurchase!
